The number of octets in the PSDU, from 1 to 4095.

Reading a capture

Counts the PSDU only — not the SERVICE field, tail, or pad bits, and not the preamble. A receiver combines this with RATE to compute how many OFDM symbols to expect, which is what sets the network allocation for stations that only decoded the SIGNAL field.
