Extra time at the end of the transmission, giving the receiver room to finish processing.

Reading a capture

Airtime that carries no data at all. It exists because HE receivers need longer to decode than the symbol boundary allows, and it is one of the reasons a short HE frame is not as cheap as its data rate suggests.
