Sender Hardware Address SHA

Network 6 octets ARP packet unverified

The sender's MAC address.

Reading a capture

Compare this against Address 2 in the 802.11 header several lanes up. On an infrastructure network they often differ, because the AP transmits the frame while the original sender is somewhere behind it — and that difference is the whole reason the four-address format exists.
